Herbert Heidenreich

 Herbert Heidenreich played in 162 Bundesliga matches (15 goals) as an offensive midfielder. As a Borussia Moenchengladbach player he made his Bundesliga debut in the 1976/77 season, straight away winning the German championship and reaching the finals of the Champions League, which was lost 1:3 to Liverpool FC. After achieving league runner up position with Borussia Moenchengladbach the following year, Herbert Heidenreich made a move to FC Nuernberg, the club for which he then played in the first division for a further five years.
