Schaefer guides Dubai's Al Ahli to the UAE title

Our client Winfried "Winni" Schaefer guided Dubai's Al Ahli Club to regain the Emirates Football League crown after 26 years since they had taken the inaugural event in 1971. The Dubai club handed a 4-1 thrashing to the defending champions, Al Wahda, in Friday's play-off at the Tahnoun bin Mohammed Stadium in Al Ain. Topscorer Eigler completes Bundesliga move

Arminia Bielefeld have signed our client and Germany Under-21 striker Christian Eigler from SpVgg Greuther Fürth for a transfer fee of 1,1 Million Euro. The 22-year-old top-scored in the German second division with 18 goals last season. He has agreed a three-year contract to join fellow newcomers Thorben Marx from Hertha BSC Berlin, Marcel Ndjeng and Markus Bollmann from SC Paderborn 07, as well as Abdelaziz Ahanfouf from MSV Duisburg.

Briegel named new Bahrain coach

FP Sport Promotion is delighted to announce the third succesful placement of a German coach in the Middle East after Winfried "Winni" Schäfer (Al Ahli Dubai) and Bernd Krauss (Baniyas Abu Dhabi). Former German international Hans Peter Briegel has taken over the coaching reins of the Bahrain national soccer team from 1st of July 2006. Christian Eigler receives Top Scorer Award

Our client Christian Eigler (22) is the Top Scorer of Germany's 2nd Bundesliga. Eigler scored 18 goals for SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the 2005/2006 season and leads the ranking before Marek Krejci of Wacker Burghausen and Giovanni Federico of Karlsruher SC with 14 goals. The profilic goalgetter is the successor of Lukas Podolski who won the award in 2004/2005. Congratulations Christian!

Roberto Hilbert signed for VfB Stuttgart

Following Antonio da Silva who will join VfB from Mainz for the 2006/07 season, Stuttgart have now another new signing to announce. Roberto Hilbert from SpVgg Greuther Fürth will make a 1.3 Million Euro move to the Bundesliga's top flight. The 21 year old has signed a contract to keep him at VfB until 30.06.2010.
