Dorge Rostand Kouemaha has agreed terms with 1. FC Kaiserslautern on a loan deal for the coming season.
The 28-year-old Cameroonian striker
moves to the Betzenberg from Belgium's Club Brugge and FCK have also
secured an option to sign him longer-term. Prior to joining Brugge in June 2009, Kouemaha turned out 34 times for
MSV Duisburg in the 2. Bundesliga, scoring 15 goals. In his two seasons
in Belgium, he hit the net 19 times in 67 matches all-told. He has also
made four appearances thus far for Cameroon. "Kouemaha is a player who can help us with his power, his size and his
aerial ability", Red Devils coach Marco Kurz said: "He's got a decent
turn of pace, he's robust and on top of that he's an experienced
frontman. Signing him will also help us compensate for the long-term
injury situation with our striker Adam Nemec."
