Dorge Rostand Kouemaha has agreed terms with 1. FC Kaiserslautern on a loan deal for the coming season.
The 28-year-old Cameroonian striker
moves to the Betzenberg from Belgium's Club Brugge and FCK have also
secured an option to sign him longer-term. Prior to joining Brugge in June 2009, Kouemaha turned out 34 times for
MSV Duisburg in the 2. Bundesliga, scoring 15 goals. In his two seasons
in Belgium, he hit the net 19 times in 67 matches all-told. He has also
made four appearances thus far for Cameroon. "Kouemaha is a player who can help us with his power, his size and his
aerial ability", Red Devils coach Marco Kurz said: "He's got a decent
turn of pace, he's robust and on top of that he's an experienced
frontman. Signing him will also help us compensate for the long-term
injury situation with our striker Adam Nemec."
FP Sport Promotion is pleased to confirm that 1899 Hoffenheim has signed striker Sven Schipplock from Bundesliga rival Stuttgart on a three-year contract. Hoffenheim manager Ernst Tanner said Monday that the 22-year-old Schipplock has "great potential." The striker has played 11 Bundesliga games for Stuttgart, scoring one goal while scoring 28 goals in 77 matches for Stuttgart's 3rd Division side. Hoffenheim will have a new coach next season — Holger Stanislawski, who is joining from St. Pauli. The team hopes to improve on a disappointing performance this season, which has seen Hoffenheim stuck in mid-table. With one round remaining, it is ninth in the 18-team Bundesliga.

FP Sport Promotion can confirm the transfer of Germany defender Heiko Westermann from Schalke to Bundesliga rival Hamburger SV. Westermann, 26, who missed the World Cup due to a foot fracture, has signed a contract until 2015 and fills the gap left by Jerome Boateng following his move to English Premier League club Manchester City. Both clubs agreed a transfer fee of 7.5 million euros (9.7 million dollars) for Westermann who became a FP Sport Promotion client with his 17th year of age.
Germany suffered a further injury blow ahead of the World Cup Sunday when defender Heiko Westermann was ruled out of the tournament with a foot injury. Westermann had fractured a bone in his foot at the end of Saturday's 3-0 win over Hungary. The 26-year-old Schalke 04 player, who has won 19 caps, is a defender but had also been seen as an option to cover in midfield following the injuries that have also ruled out Michael Ballack and Christian Traesch.

Dorge Kouemaha has made Cameroon’s 30-man preliminary squad for the World Cup. The Club Brugge striker is expected to make the final cut to play in Group E with the record of 16 league goals that made him Belgium's topscorer of the season. Frenchman Paul le Guen is the Indomitable Lions coach and he will be looking to improve upon their performance at the Africa Cup of Nations. After qualifying from their group, Cameroon suffered a quarter final exit at the hands of eventual winners Egypt, who are not at this summer’s tournament.
FC Nuremberg has extended the contract of defender Juri Judt for another two years until June 2012. Judt joined Nuremburg in 2008 from local rivals Greuther Fürth. Nuremburg manager Dieter Hecking expressed his satisfaction over Judt's decision and described him as a reliable player. "I feel very comfortable in Nuremberg and I am pleased to be able to play here for another two seasons" said Judt.
Marco Christ remains faithful to Fortuna Düsseldorf. The playmaker extended his expiring contractin for two more years until June 2012. Christ became the club's hero with a few outstanding performances in Düsseldorf's promotion season last year. Anyway he had a difficult time so far this season after several little injuries. Marco joined Fortuna Düsseldorf in 2007 from VfR Aalen.
Dorge Rostand Kouemaha moves with immediate effect from MSV Duisburg to the Belgian Euro-League participants Club Brugge, where he signed a four-year contract. Both clubs agreed not to disclose transfer fee. "We regret the sale of Kouemaha although athletic and human, but the player gets a great chance to evolve in an international club play," said sporting director Bruno Hübner. Kouemaha came in summer 2008 from the Hungarian club Debreceni VSC to Duisburg. The forward scored 15 goals in 34 games for the second division outfit MSV Duisburg.

The Koenigsblauen may be in a mini-crisis at the moment, but there has been a positive development for them as Heiko Westermann has signed Schalke have lost their manager, are in a lowly league position, their captain has given up the armband and they have been dumped out of both the DFB Pokal and the UEFA Cup. Things are looking bleak at the Veltins Arena at the moment. However, the news that versatile German international Heiko Westermann has signed a new contract at the club will at least bring a smile to the supporters’ faces. The 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a new deal, which will keep him at the Ruhr club until July 30, 2014.

Kickers Offenbach Under 19 defender Cenk Güvenc has been called up by the Turkish National Team for two friendly matches with Romania on February 17 and 19. Güvenc had mixed feelings as he had to decide to play for Turkey as the country his parents hail from and to the disfavor of the German FA. The nomination by Under 19 National Coach Ogün Temizkanoglu will be the first international experience for the 17-year-old versatile defender.
